South Carolina State Claims 5-1 Dual Match
Win at Campbell
BUIES CREEK, N.C.
The S.C. State women (14-1) claimed five of six singles
matches to hand Campbell (12-7) its three-straight loss. Campbell
junior Iva Stojancev ran her record to 16-2 on the spring with a
straight-sets victory at number-two.
However, the Bulldogs
dropped only one set otherwise as Mirian Cruz, Vesna Popac, Milana
Borisev, Yana Lytkina and Alexis Panton claimed singles
wins.
Campbell travels to Radford for
a 2:00 p.m. match on Friday before hosting Norfolk State in
Saturday's 1:00 p.m. regular season finale. The Atlantic Sun
Conference Championship tournament begins Wed., Apr. 12 at Macon,
Ga.
