JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-Despite not making
a field goal over the final 8:53 of the game Jacksonville escaped
with a 63-55 victory over Campbell in Atlantic Sun women's
basketball action Saturday afternoon in Swisher Gym.
The
Dolphins (8-6, 2-2 A-Sun) opened the second half on a 19-6 run

to 12 with its final bucket of the ball game by Ashley
Williams.

during the final minute of the game to ice things away.
Murphy led all players with 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds
for her sixth double-double of the season. Virginia Gregoire led
the Dolphins with 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting and the A-Sun's

one of Regina Omoite's two three pointers capping 16-7 run that
took just over six minutes; Omoite finished with nine points on the
game.
Trailing 28-17 with 5:32 to play the Lady Camels ended the half on
an 13-2 run highlighted by a pair of three pointers from Rich and
one by freshman Taylor Oliver.

Campbell with 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting in the opening 20
minutes.
