Men's Golf Sixth After 36 Holes at Belmont Fall Shootout

BRENTWOOD, TENN. Fredric Sundberg is tied for fourth place individually and Campbell is sixth in the team standings after 36 holes Monday of the Belmont Fall Shootout men's golf tournament.

Sundberg is three strokes off the lead set by Miami of Ohio's Craig Voorhees, who is six-under-par (71-67—138) heading into Tuesday's final round at the par-72, 7043-yard Nashville Golf and Athletic Club.

Robert Taylor of Florida Gulf Coast and Colin Clemente of Akron are tied for second place at four-under 140, followed by Sundberg (71-70) and Kyle Cobb of Cleveland State and minus-three 141.

Akron leads the 12-team field at 576 strokes, followed by Cleveland State (580), Florida Gulf Coast (583), Northern Illinois (585), Miami of Ohio (585), Campbell (587), Ball State (589), Troy (599), Austin Peay (600), William & Mary (605), Marshall (608) and host Belmont (612).

Campbell junior Mark Coppell and sophomore Victor Hielte are tied for 23rd place at four-over 148, while senior Isak Pettersen is tied for 32nd (15) and freshman Zak Drescher is tied for 49th (155).

The final round of the 54-hole event starts Tuesday morning.
