BUIES CREEK, N.C.
Campbell (10-39, 4-17 A-Sun) hosts its final four games of the year
at Taylor Field beginning Friday, when North Florida (20-28, 9-12
A-Sun) makes its first-ever appearance in Buies Creek for a
three-game Atlantic Sun set.

The Camels and Osprey have
played each other seven times, with all seven meetings coming at
Harmon Stadium in
Jacksonville. The Ospreys hold a 6-1 record in seven games against
CU, with five of the seven contests being decided by one run.
Campbell's lone win in the series came in 2002 via a 10-9 victory
in Jacksonville.

Last season, North Florida
swept Campbell by scores of 2-1, 6-5 and 8-1 in the Osprey's first
season as a member of the A-Sun. UNF finished second in the league
last year, with a 20-10 conference mark and a 34-21 overall record
in its first full season as a Division I member, after finishing as
national runner-up in the Division II ranks.

The Camels come into the
series, losers of six of their last seven. The bats have been
silent as they have scored four runs or more just once in their
last 10 games, and twice in the last 14. Carlton Floyd continued
to swing the bat well on Tuesday in a loss to Charleston Southern,
as the sophomore extended his hitting streak to eight games with a
3-5 evening against the Bucs.

After losing eight straight
games, UNF has put together a nice stretch winning five of its last
eight including wins over Miami two weeks ago, and over Florida
this past Tuesday. Jimmy Glanville and T.J. Thompson both had three
hits in the UF game and are batting .400 and .364 respectively in
the Osprey's last five games. Preston Hale has also been hot in
that time, clubbing 11 hits.

First pitch for Friday's
doubleheader is slated for 4:00 with the second game to follow.
Saturday's game will begin at 1:00.
