Krosendijk Finishes Seventh at NACAC Games

BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Silvienne Krosendijk, a rising junior at Campbell University, finished seventh in the Long Jump at the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Championships in San Salvador, El Salvador on Sunday.

Krosendijk set her best mark on her third jump with a distance of 5.82 meters representing her native country of Aruba. The United States' Shameka Marshall grabbed the top spot in the event with a 6.34 m jump.

During her sophomore season with the Fighting Camels, Krosendijk, who set a school record in the triple jump with an 11.48 m mark in the Atlantic Sun Championships and a CU personal best of 5.86m in the long jump, which placed her third in the A-Sun.
