league champion Bruins (9-7, 1-1) for the second-straight year at
Carter Gym.

Dotson 15 and Shane Dansby 12 for the Bruins, who shot just 41
percent (26-64) from the floor.
Belmont, which earlier this year won
at Cincinnati and Alabama, missed its first seven shots and had
three turnovers during Campbell's 17-0 start. Campbell extended the lead to 21
(46-25) with 4:56 left on the opening period on Hartley's triple,
but did not score again until the 18:10 mark of the second
half.
The Bruins trailed 46-32 at
the break; then cut the gap to 10 on buckets by Dotson and Dansby
before Kyle Vejraska ended a 6:45 drought. Hare hit consecutive threes to cap an
8-0 Belmont run that brought the Bruins within 72-66 with 3:33
remaining, but Belmont could not draw closer.
After seeing a 13-point edge
slip away in the final 7:49 of Thursday's 86-79 overtime loss to
Lipscomb, Campbell hit 8-of-12 free throws in the last 1:48 of play
and made 19-of-32 (.594) on the game to seal Saturday's

7:58 of play while building a 26-8 advantage. Campbell hit nine of its first 16

A senior from San Diego
(Calif.) La Jolla High School, Wohlfeil topped his previous
career-high of 22 points against Gardner-Webb set during his
freshman season. His seven
threes was also a career-best mark.
Rodriguez, who entered the
game as the Atlantic Sun's leading scorer (22.0), was limited to 28
minutes on the night after picking up his second period foul with
8:29 to go in the opening period. The sophomore from Miami, Fla., made
5-of-8 from the field and 6-of-8 from the stripe.
