BUIES CREEK, N.C.- Head coach Todd Clark and the Campbell
University women's soccer program has announced two camps to be
held in the summer of 2008, the Girls Residential Camp and Girls
Elite Academy. The Girls
Residential Camp runs from June 15-19, while the Girls Elite
Academy will be held July 18-20.
The Girls Residential Camp, which targets players of all abilities
aged ten and above, includes individual and group instruction from
quality collegiate coaches from across the region. Campers will improve both technically
and tactically along with competing in full-sided matches. Each camp individual will
receive an adidas camp T-shirt, shorts and a soccer ball. The price of the camp is
$350.
Held in conjunction with the CU men's soccer program, the Elite
Academy is geared towards elite high school players with ambitions
of playing collegiate soccer. Quality instruction aims to create an
intense but enjoyable environment while improving individual's
skills. A post-camp
assessment and two full adidas training kits and ball will be
presented to each camp participant. The cost of the camp is $225.
