afternoon at the Eakes Complex.
The Camels improve to 9-3 on the year with the pair of wins, while

Love's 2-for-3, six RBI performance marks the seventh time in CU
softball history that a Camel has batted in at least half a dozen
runs in a single contest, with Martha Covington topping the list
with eight (4/20/96). Sophomore catcher Amanda Littlejohn, who
ended the game with three RBI and two homers, has accomplished the

RBI in the game each. Hinton, a College Station, Texas native, also
scored three times, going 1-for-3 with a walk.

year, and going 5.2 innings and giving up two runs on three hits.
The Phoenix, Ariz. native also fanned four Bison and walked six

the inning. Senior hurler Dale McNeal took the loss for Howard,
pitching three innings and giving up five runs.
In

3-for-3 outing. Another freshman, Keeli Michael, roped a triple in
that contest, the first of her career, also scoring two runs in the
game. Melissa Elks, another freshman, also beat out a triple in the
game nabbing a pair of RBI in the process.
While going 1-for-3 at the plate with a RBI and a run scored,

the season, going the complete seven innings with three runs on six
hits, striking out four. McNeal took the loss in game two,
scattering eight hits, while five CU base runners scored, two
