BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Campbell softball recently announced a pair of schedule changes for its 2008 schedule, affecting two of the Camels' 14 home dates this year.

Initially set for a Feb. 9 tilt, South Carolina State will now play on March 18 at Eakes Athletic Complex in Buies Creek, with the doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. The move pushes the Camels' 2008 home debut back 10 days, facing the Seahawks of UNC Wilmington on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Savannah State, originally scheduled to play the March 18 date, will be cancelled with no intention of a make-up date.

The Camels will open up their season in South Carolina on Tuesday, Feb. 12, taking on the College of Charleston at 4 p.m.
