RANCHO SANTA FE, CALIF. – Campbell freshmen Zak Drescher and Matt Moot paced the Fighting Camels Monday over the first 36 holes of the Callaway Golf Invitational hosted by the University of San Diego.

Drescher (71-79) and Moot (73-77) were tied for 28th place at six-over 150 heading into Tuesday's final round at the Farms Golf Club. Senior Fredric Sundberg was one stroke behind at 151 in a tie for 34th place after a second-round 68.

Mark Coppell shot 76-83—159, while Daniel Ng Choo Sian finished his day at 77-84—161.

Wichita State (280-290) led the 15-school event at six-under 570, followed by host San Diego (576). Campbell shot 207-307—604 to sit ninth in the team standings after 36 holes.

Ryan Spears and Dustin Garza of Wichita State were tied for the individual lead with Joshua Kelly of St. Mary's at four-under 140.
