FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – Senior Sam Tilly bettered his NCAA Regional mark in the long jump in placing second in the event at the Arkansas Twilight on Friday afternoon.

Tilly's jump of 7.49m/24'07.00" placed him second behind Daniel Quinn of Arkansas, who jumped 7.52m/24'08.25". Tilly previous high mark of the season of 7.43m/24'04/50" was set at the Tony Waldrop Invitational on April 12. Tilly has now placed first or second in the long jump four times this season

The rest of Campbell's track team competes in the Patriot Invitational starting at noonon Saturday on the campus of George Mason.
