BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Monday night's men's basketball game between
Campbell University and Virginia Tech is officially a sell out.
As of 3:00 p.m. Monday, all tickets for the 3,095-seat Gilbert
Craig Gore Arena inside the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center
were sold.
Monday's sell out will mark the second-straight game where the
Fighting Camels have broken a home attendance record. A crowd of
2,778 spectators last Tuesday witnessed Campbell's 74-68 win over
visiting East Carolina.
Tip-off between the Camels and Hokies, the first Atlantic Coast
Conference member to play a varsity men's basketball game in Buies
Creek, is set for 7:00 p.m.
For those unable to get a ticket to Monday's game, the Camels
return to action Friday at 6:15 p.m. in their Atlantic Sun
Conference opener against North Florida
The Department of Athletics will grant free admission to anyone who
brings two (2) non-perishable food items to the Pope Center for
Friday's A-Sun doubleheader against North Florida. The Lady Camels
host UNF at 4:00 p.m., followed by the men's game at 6:15.
All food and monetary donations will go directly to the Harnett
County Food Pantry. In addition to Campbell basketball games
during November and December, donations may also be made at The
Coffee Society on Marshbanks St.
