Sophomore Katie Hinton also excelled in Chattanooga and reached base a total of seven times on her three hits and four walks. Hinton is currently tied for the conference lead with five runs scored on the year.

The Camels have continued the power surge from last season that led to a school-record 64 home runs and have homered in each of their first four games to totaled six home runs on the season.

Each team in the five-team tournament will have the opportunity to matchup with each other head-to-head over the two days.

Bucknell, who are opening the 2009 campaign in Buies Creek, are led by sophomore outfielder Lauren Fry. Fry won the Patriot League's top freshman last season after hitting .336 with 11 doubles and a school-record 31 RBIs. Ohio (2-3) started their season last week in the New Mexico State Tournament. The Bobcats lost their first two games, but rallied and won two of their final three. Ohio sophomore Emily Wethington leads the team with a .600 batting average and seven runs-batted in. Charleston Southern is off to a 3-0 start after taking all three games from North Carolina Central over the weekend. Freshman Megan Lombard is off to a strong start with a .667 batting average to go along with six hits and two stolen bases. These will be the first games of the season for St. Joseph's.
