N.C. The women's tennis
match against Coastal Carolina scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, has
been cancelled due to travel issues and possible inclement
weather. The match is not
expected to be made up.
The Lady Camels will be back
in action on Wednesday as they host Florida Gulf Coast for the
final Atlantic Sun match of the season. Campbell has already locked up the
number four seed in next week's Atlantic Sun
Championship.
Campbell is led by freshman Borislava
Nikolova, the native of Sofia, Bulgaria owns a team best 13-6
overall singles record on the season. On the doubles side, the Lady Camels
are paced by the duo of Anais Gomar and Blanca Saenz. The teammates own a record of 12-4 on
the season.
Florida Gulf Coast comes in to
Wednesday's match with an identical 3-5 conference record as
Campbell; however due to their reclassification from Division II to
Division I, they are not eligible for the conference
tournament.
The Lady Eagles are led by
Priscillia Villemond as she owns a 9-5 singles record on the
year. The duo of Maggie
Caulk and Eva Sambrano lead Florida Gulf Coast on the doubles side
with a 5-5 mark on the year.
Campbell closes out the regular season
on Friday as they host Longwood in a non-conference match beginning
at 2 p.m.
