CREEK, N.C.- Campbell's football team held the first two-a-day of
the fall to highlight the practice sessions on Thursday, August 13,
at Barker-Lane Stadium/Ed Gore Field.
The Camels began the day with an early morning session under gray
and rainy skies in helmets and shoulder pads. CU, after grabbing
lunch and going through the daily meetings then came back to host
an evening session. The evening session was a full padded with
limited hitting as the Camels continued to work toward the home
opener against Methodist.
"We had a good morning session and followed it with a strong
practice in the afternoon," Coach Steele stated. "The cooler
weather helped us fly around and get a lot accomplished. Today we
continued to go over the basics including pass skeleton, inside
drills and goal line situations. We also worked a little on the
kicking game in the morning and focused more on the running and
passing game in the afternoon.
The Camels will hold a single practice in full pads on Friday,
August 14, starting at 3:55 p.m.
