CREEK, N.C.- Campbell's football team announced it will hold a Fan
Appreciation Day on Saturday Aug. 8 at Barker-Lane Stadium/Ed Gore
Field from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Fans, boosters, members of the Buies Creek and surrounding
communities are welcome to join the team for a free late morning of
activities with the opportunity to take pictures, meet the team and
obtain autographs. The doors to the facility will open at 11 a.m.
and the Campbell players will be stationed at their lockers until
12 p.m. to meet their fans, get their pictures taken and sign
autographs.
The day will also serve as the team's Picture Day and Media Day,
which will be sandwiched around the fan activities.
The team has its Media Day scheduled for between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
in the multi-purpose room of the Barker-Lane Fieldhouse. Please
contact Campbell's Athletic Media Services Department for more
details and to schedule individual interviews with players and
coaches.
The Camels, after a lunch break, will return to the complex to
practice starting at 4:05 p.m. for a practice. Fans are welcome to
stick around and check out the Camels in action in their second
practice of the year.
The Campbell football team reports back to campus on Aug. 6. The
team will hold their first practice on Aug. 7 starting at 3:35 p.m.
