NASHVILLE, TENN.-After a come from behind win Thursday at Belmont,
Campbell will take on Lipscomb Saturday at 1 p.m. CST in another
Atlantic Sun women's basketball matchup inside Allen Arena.
Down by as many as 13 in the second half, the Lady Camels chipped
away at the Bruin lead over a nine minute span and knotted the game
at 54 at the 4:51 mark. Holding a one point lead with under a

Baker drove in and connected on a runner. From there, Campbell
registered a 9-of-10 clip from the free throw line to hang on to
the win.
Sophomore
guard Kate Cloxton paced Campbell
in the win, scoring 20 of her career-high 22 points in the second
half, draining 8-of-11 shots, including 4-of-5 from distance.
Cloxton also posted four rebounds and four assists without a
turnover. The Lady Camels committed a season-low 12 turnovers at
Belmont.
Senior forward Geami
Britt added 17 points, one short of a season-high, with four
assists and a pair of rebounds. Freshman forward Jazmine
Cooper also registered a season-high with 11 points, adding six
rebounds and a pair of steals. Junior guard Courtney
Cannon chipped in nine points, while freshman guard Tonisha
Baker collected six points. Both Cannon and Baker grabbed two
rebounds apiece.
With that win, the Lady Camels improved to 10-7 overall and 5-3 in
A-Sun play, already matching their conference win total from last
season. Winless on the road in league games a year ago, the Lady
Camels are 3-2 in A-Sun contests away from Buies Creek.
The Bisons are 4-15 on the year with a 2-7 A-Sun mark after a 76-65
loss to East Tennessee State on Thursday in Nashville. Lipscomb
tied the game at 50 with 9:32 remaining, but ETSU connected on nine
straight points, and came away with the 11-point win.
Junior guard Jenna Barsokas, who tallied eight points and seven
rebounds against ETSU, leads Lipscomb in scoring at 12.0 points per
game this season, while sophomore guard Anna Bowers follows with
7.1 per contest. Sophomore wing Chelsea Burroughs paced Lipscomb
against the Buccaneers with 19 points. The Lebanon, Tenn. native
averages 6.3 points per game.
Lipscomb leads the all-time series with Campbell, 7-5, with the
Bisons taking three of the last four games. The teams split last
season, with the home school winning each time. Forward Lauren
Yesh, now a junior, posted 10 points in each meeting last
season for Campbell, while Geami Britt tallied a
career-high 24 points in the Lady Camels' 70-56 win in Buies
Creek.
Campbell will be back on the road in its next game, heading to ETSU
on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
