at Lipscomb Saturday afternoon inside Allen Arena.
Campbell moves to 11-7 overall and 6-3 in A-Sun games, while the
Bisons fall to 4-16 and 2-8 in league action. The Lady Camels also
put together back to back A-Sun road wins for the first time since
the 2005-06 season, when CU took victories at North Florida and
Mercer.
In addition to being a season-high in points for the Lady Camels,
it was also the ninth time Campbell has scored 70 or more points,
going 9-0 in those games.

with 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting, adding three rebounds and three
steals in the win. Junior forward Lauren Yesh added 15 points
and six rebounds with three assists and a steal.

Cannon also landed in double figures, collecting 12 points and
five rebounds, while sophomore guard Kate Cloxton posted 10
points, six assists and four boards. Campbell is 9-0 when the
Winfield, W.Va. native posts five or more assists and 5-0 when
Cloxton notches at least 10 points.

the win, while Jazmine
Cooper tacked on six and Amanda O'Neill gathered five
points.

points, while freshman wing Morgan Faulkner notched 18 points in
the loss. Valerie Bronson, a junior guard, posted 15 points,
including 13 in the second half, while Brittany Duerk ended the
afternoon with 10 points.
Campbell opened the game hitting 6-of-8 shot attempts for a 12-5
lead by the 14:07 mark, as Ashley Williamson banged in
two of her eight first half points. With 12:13 remaining, a Cloxton
three from the corner extended the Lady Camel lead to double digits
at 17-7.
Campbell led by as many 16 in the opening stanza, and took a
13-point advantage into the break, 46-33. The Lady Camels shot .667
percent (18-27) in the first half, compared to .375 percent (9-24)
for the Bisons.
The Bisons chipped the lead back to single digits at the 14:35 mark
on a Brittany Duerk put-back, 55-46. A Jenna Bartsokas jumper at
the 11:54 mark capped off the 17-4 Lipscomb run. The Lady Camels
clawed back, however, taking the game back to 10 at the 8:00 mark
on a Courtney
Cannon free throw, 64-54.
Up by nine with 4:06 remaining, Bartsokas again answered for the
Bisons, nailing a three after a Lady Camel turnover. Keeping LU at
a distance, threes on back to back trips from Lauren
Yesh and Courtney
Cannon put Campbell back on top, 81-71 with 1:55 remaining.
From there, the Lady Camels clung to the 88-80 win.
