DAYTONA
BEACH, FLA. - Sarah Bejgrowicz is tied for fifth place individually
and Campbell is in fourth place on the team leader board after 36
holes of the LPGA International/Xavier Invitational women's golf
tournament.
Bejgrowicz (70-79) is tied with Lauren Howell of Montana at
five-over 149. Mitsuki Katahira of Daytona State leads the field
at six-under 138 following consecutive 69s on the par-72, 6084-yard
LPGA International Legends course.
Alex Buelow of Stetson is second (74-69-143), followed by Ericka
Schneider of Daytona State (77-67-144) and Carissa Simmons of
Montana (70-78-148).
Daytona State (305-290-595) leads the 14-school field after a
two-over-par 290 on Saturday. First-round leader Montana
(299-310-609) dropped to second, followed by host Xavier
(310-304-614) and Campbell (305-313-618). Lamar, Florida Atlantic
and Stetson are tied for fifth at 620.
Playing as an individual, Campbell senior Sandra Angulo is tied for
seventh at 75-75-150 and leads the field with 30 pars in 36 holes.
Bejgrowicz has 26 pars, third-best in the tournament.
Campbell junior Michelle Koh shot the team's low round of the day
(82-73-155) and moved up to a tie for 18th place. Freshman Maria
Jose Benavides is tied for 31st (78-79-157), while fellow frosh
Kaylin Yost is tied for 50th (79-82-161). Sophomore Teresa Urquizu
is tied for 58th (78-85-163).
CU freshman Alexandra Prazak is tied for 62nd (87-78-165) while
playing as an individual.
Sunday's final round will commence with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun
start.
