BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Campbell will travel to East Tennessee State on Monday, Dec. 20, taking on the Buccaneers in Atlantic Sun conference women's basketball action at 7 p.m. inside the Memorial Center.

At 1-8 overall and 0-1 in A-Sun play, Campbell is led by sophomore guard Tonisha Baker at 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Last time out, the Lady Camels dropped an 85-71 decision at USC Upstate in their A-Sun opener. Campbell owned the edge in a majority of the game, but suffered a 22-2 Spartan run over a span of 6:23 in the first half. CU went 0-for-5 from the field, committing eight turnovers in that span, while owning a 69-63 advantage for the remainder of the game. Junior guard Kate Cloxton posted a season-high 21 points in the loss, the third time a Lady Camel has notched 20 or more points in a game this season.

Over the last three games, the Lady Camels have shot 46.3 percent from the floor, up from 34.8 percent before that stretch. Freshman forward Ashley James has gathered averages of 9.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game over her last two outings. The rookie post collected Campbell's first double-double of the season against North Carolina Central, posting 11 points and 14 rebounds before adding eight and five at Upstate.

ETSU, at 2-5 and 0-1 in A-Sun play this season, is currently riding a five game losing streak, after starting the season 2-0. The Buccaneers suffered an 87-47 loss at nationally ranked North Carolina on Dec. 8, and opened their A-Sun schedule with a 78-70 loss at USC Upstate.

Freshman forward Destiny Mitchell leads the Bucs at 13.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, while senior guard Tara Davis averages 12.7 points and 4.1 assists per game. Junior forward Natalie Pickwell adds 9.9 points and 4.1 rebounds a game.

Campbell will round out 2010 and its nonconference schedule at Presbyterian on Dec. 30.
