BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Sporting six top-three marks in the Atlantic Sun,
Campbell heads to the conference's indoor championships this
weekend in Johnson City, Tenn.
Freshman Diego Lawrence will be the
only Camel with a top seed, as his 7.27 meter best in the men's
long jump tops the A-Sun. Junior Robert Brunson ranks just
behind Lawrence, posting a 7.12 meter leap for second in the
conference. Brunson also ranks third in the men's triple jump with
a 13.97 meter jump.

Campbell also are among the A-Sun's top-tier in the 60 meter
hurdles and 200 meter dash, respectively. Senior Elizabeth
Mize is ranked second in the women's high jump with a 1.70
meter mark.
Competition will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with the women's pentathlon,
wrapping up day one with the men's distance medley relay at 6:40
p.m. Day two will begin with the men's heptathlon at 8:30 a.m. and
conclude at 4 p.m. with the men's 4x400 meter relay.
The NCAA Indoor Championships will begin March 12. The outdoor
season will begin for the Camels in Rock Hill, S.C. on March 26 at
the Asics / Winthrop Invitational.
