Sun) dropped the team's fourth consecutive game in a 6-0 loss to
Stetson (21-17, 3-5) on Saturday, April 10 at Patricia Wilson

inherited runs to score. Amanda Lindsey (14-9) allowed just five

The Camels threatened in the first inning. Freshman Sarah Forgacs walked
and Cassie Webb reached on a
one-out error. After a strikeout and a walk to load the bases,
Stetson's Lindsey was able to get out of the jam with a ground
out.
Stetson took advantage of the change of momentum in the first
inning with two runs. Amy Joyce reached on a lead off infield
single. She then stole second and moved to third on a sacrifice
bunt. Lindsey was then walked and Jill Semento was hit by a pitch.
After a fielders choice, Jessica Lokeinsky singled off the wall to
score pinch runner Lindsey Guenther and Semento.
CU again put two runners on base in the second inning with junior
Keeli Michael reaching on an
infield single and senior Robin Leathers drawing a
walk, but again Lindsey got out of the jam unscathed.
Leathers saved a few runs in the second inning for Campbell with
her leaping catch of a Lindsey liner with two runners on.
Stetson loaded the bases in the fifth inning and scored three runs.
Chelsey Trotto walked, Lindsey was hit by a pitch and Semento
reached on a check swing single. Lawrence then walked to score
Trotto. Lokeinsky then hit into a fielders choice to score Lindsey.
She also reached base on the ball. Semento came in to score on the
wild pitch by the Camels hurler.
The Hatters added a run in the sixth inning. Joyce led off the
double and moved to third on Trotto's single. Trotto took second on
the play as no Campbell player covered second base. Lindsey was
struck out but on the dropped third strike Joyce scored from
third.
CU threatened again to seventh inning. Juniors Katie
Hinton and Keeli Michael were both able
to reach on infield hits. Forgacs pushed a bunt to the pitcher to
load the bases. The Camels threat was ended on an infield pop
