ANN ARBOR, MICH. - Michelle Koh is tied for 14th place and Campbell
sits in ninth in the team standings after 36 holes Saturday of the
Wolverine Invitational at the University of Michigan Golf
Course.
A junior from Kuantan, Malaysia, Koh shot 76-76-152 on the par-71,
6167-yard layout. Teammate Sarah Bejgrowicz is tied for 19th in
the 90-player field at 79-75-154.
Min Yean Tan of Michigan leads the tournament at four-over-par 146
(75-71), one stroke ahead of Florida International teammates Paula
Hurtado (75-72-147) and Cristina Marin (72-75-147).
Florida International, with three individuals among the top seven,
holds a 15-stroke lead (301-292-593) over Augusta State
(303-305-608) with 18 holes remaining in the event. Iowa State is
third (297-313-610), followed by Michigan (307-305-612),
Northwestern (300-313-613) and Indiana (308-306-614).
Campbell (315-312-627) sits five strokes behind eighth-place
Longwood (313-309-622) and four ahead of 10th-place Toledo
(311-320-631). Southern Methodist (632) is 11th and Kennesaw State
12th (636) in the 17-school field.
CU freshman Kaylin Yost is tied for 54th (81-79-160), while senior
Sandra Angulo is tied for 58th (79-82-161) and freshman Maria Jose
Benavides tied for 70th (81-82-163).
