BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Coming off a dramatic, 3-2 come-from-behind win
over Coastal Carolina Wednesday, the Campbell women's soccer team
hits the road Monday to face South Carolina State in a 7 p.m.
kick-off at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
The match will be the first of a stretch of three away games in six
days, with the Camels also traveling to Radford on Thursday and VMI
on Saturday.

(2-2-1) fell behind 2-0 to Coastal on Wednesday, but forced
overtime after Caitlin

Terry's direct free kick from just outside the box 3:55 into
overtime sealed a 3-2 victory for the Camels. minute and Olga

Terry assisted on the first two CU goals and registered the first
four-point game of her career. For the second-straight game,
Ekblom scored a Campbell equalizer late in regulation-she scored
with just 25 seconds remaining in Monday's tilt with UMBC.
Terry leads the Atlantic Sun with seven points (two goals, three
assists) this year. The Carrollton, Texas, native has started all
five games as a central defender for the Camels, and has played all
474 minutes this season.
Panfil made seven saves against Coastal and was named A-Sun
defensive player of the week Monday after recording her seventh
career shutout against High Point on Aug. 23.
South Carolina State (2-1-1) enters Monday's contest with wins
against Navy and Southern Virginia to its credit. Olivia Moore and
Briana Lopez scored two goals in the victory over Southern
Virginia, and sophomore Stephanie Searle scored a goal and tallied
three assists.
Lopez leads third-year head coach Glad Bugariu's side with eight
points (3G, 2A) on the season. SCSU is following a 2009 campaign
that was the program's most successful ever, as the Lady Bulldogs
compiled a 10-7-3 overall record.
Campbell won the teams' only prior meeting 2-0 in 2009 on the
strength of Kirsty
Meyer and Marisa
Muller goals.
