Football To Host "Take A Kid To The Game" On Saturday

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – In addition to honoring the program's 30 seniors on Saturday, Nov. 5, in a pre-game ceremony prior the home season finale, Campbell football's 1 p.m. contest against Morehead State at Barker-Lane Stadium/Ed Gore Field will be the annual "Take A Kid To The Game", where kids aged 14 and younger will receive a ticket to the game with the purchase of an adult ticket (limit two kids tickets per adult).

Campbell (5-3, 4-2 PFL) comes into the game on a four-game winning streak both overall and in conference play. The team won a thrilling 26-20 triple overtime game against Davidson on Oct. 29. Braden Smith was named the Pioneer Football League's Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Sunday after leading the 14-point comeback while throwing for a career-high 290 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. The honor was the second time in the last two weeks that Smith has been named the PFL Offensive Player of the Week. Before the team's bye Morehead State (2-6, 1-4 PFL) lost a 30-28 game to Dayton two weeks ago. The Eagles have lost three games this season by a combined total of seven points.

After this weekend the Camels travel to Valparaiso, Ind. to take on the Crusaders at 2 p.m. on Nov. 12.
