CHAPEL
HILL, N.C. - For the third time in as many weeks, Jessica
Dunston set a new school record in the women's weight throw,
this time at the Dick Taylor UNC Invitational.
Dunston placed second in the event with a throw of 18.20
meters.
Dunston
also had a strong performance in the shot put, finishing fifth with
a mark of 11.51 meters.
Junior Dave
Matthews had a throw of 14.55 meters in the men's weight throw
to give him an eighth place finish. Matthews also
competed in the shot put and placed 14th with a mark of
12.30 meters.
Junior Courtney
Kinlaw finished seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 3.07
meters.
At Day 2
of the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., hosted by the
University of Arkansas, Robert
Brunson had the best Campbell finish on the day with a
13th place finish in the triple jump with a mark of
14.39 meters.
Diego
Lawrence won his individual heat in the 200 meters with a
personal best time of 22.04 seconds and finished 48th
overall in the event.
The Camels
make a return trip to ETSU next weekend, Feb. 18-19, where it
competed in the Niswonger Invitational earlier this season, for the
Atlantic Sun Indoor Championships in Johnson City, Tenn.
