CREEK - A pair of home dates, plus the annual Spring Break High
School clinic highlight Campbell University's 2011 spring women's
soccer schedule.
The Camels open their slate on Saturday, March 26 when they host
Mt. Olive, UNC Pembroke and a team of Campbell Alumni in multiple
contests beginning at 10:00 a.m. Each team will face the other in
45 minute, 11-vs.-11 games starting with the Camels and UNCP.
CU entertains regional rival UNC Wilmington on Wednesday, March 30
in a 7:00 p.m. kick-off.
A trip to East Carolina follows on Sat., Apr. 2 in an 11:00 p.m.
start. The next Saturday (Apr. 9), Campbell will face both Francis
Marion and Coker at Florence, S.C.
On Sat., Apr. 16, Campbell will have the opportunity to compete
with future Big South Conference opponents Charleston Southern and
VMI in the day-long UNCW Seahawk Tournament. In addition to host
UNC Wilmington, other schools at the event are ECU, UNCP, Barton,
Mt. Olive and Queens.
Admission is free and open to the public to Campbell spring soccer
games.
CU's annual Spring Break Soccer Camp for boys and girls of all
skill levels in grade 1-8 runs from Mon.-Thurs., Apr. 25-28 from
8:30 am-3:15 p.m. Cost is $145.
Campbell will also hold its annual Spring Break High School clinic
from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 28. Cost its $50 and open to
female high school players in grades 9-12.
