State 4-3 Saturday afternoon in non-conference action in Orangeburg
S.C.
Campbell (11-2,
3-1 A-Sun) swept all three doubles matches, and Sum, Fernando
Guillen, and Josep
Baro picked up singles victories. Guillen clinched the match
for the Camels by defeating Anton Protsenko in the third spot (7-6,
3-6, 6-1).
Dominik
Kaniewski and Sum improved to 9-2 on the season in doubles play
after defeating Peteris
Vinogradous and Gabriel
Meana in the one position (8-6). David Clavera and Guillen didn't
drop a single game while defeating Peteris
Vinogradous and Protsenko
in the three spot (8-0).
The Camels
return to A-Sun play Friday, March 25 as they travel to Kennesaw
Ga. to take on Kennesaw State. Match time is set for 2:00
p.m.
