be on the line Tuesday as Campbell (13-2, 5-1 A-Sun) faces East
Tennessee State (12-6, 6-1) at 2:00 at the Nisbet Tennis
Center.
The Camels are coming off two straight A-Sun road wins this past
weekend against Kennesaw State and Mercer. Campbell defeated the
Owls 7-0 Friday and the Bears 5-2 on Saturday. Seniors Davy
Sum and Larbi
Lamzouri led the way with two victories in the top three
positions.
Sum is 15-0 in singles play this season in the one position, with
14 straight-set victories. Lamzouri is 8-7 this season despite
playing through a left wrist injury. The Morocco native has won 7
of his matches in the two spot.
Freshman Fernando
Guillen is 11-4 this season playing primarily in the three
position. The Mexico native is currently riding a four game winning
streak.
Dominik
Kaniewski is 12-1 this season in the four spot including a 7-0
record in conference play. Sophomores David
Clavera and Josep
Baro have been consistent for the Camels in the five and six
spots.
The Bucs are also coming off two dominating A-Sun wins this past
weekend. On Friday, they defeated Stetson 6-1, and continued their
winning ways Saturday against Florida Gulf Coast (7-0).
ETSU has played three players at the one position this season, and
is 10-8 in that spot. Sander Gille has played the most matches in
the position and holds a 4-6 record. The Bucs are 11-7 in the two

Campbell sits at 5-1 in conference play this season and third place
in the standings. ETSU sits at 6-1 in conference play and first
place in the standings. With Campbell owning the tiebreaker over
second place UNF (by beating them earlier this season) the winner
of the match Tuesday will be first place in conference heading into
the final three conference matches of the season.
Following the match Tuesday, Campbell returns to the courts Friday,
April 1 to take on Belmont at the Nisbet Tennis Center. Match time
is set 2:00 p.m.
