BUIES CREEK, N.C. - The Campbell University men's tennis team climbed to the #70 national ranking this week, according to the Campbell's/ ITA College Tennis Rankings. The Camels are 7-1 on the season, and 1-0 in Atlantic Sun play.

The Camels are currently on a five match winning streak following a 7-0 victory over Florida Gulf Coast Thursday. Campbell has wins over defending Southern Conference champions UNC Greensboro and Big South members Liberty and Coastal Carolina.

In Division I, the ITA (National) Rankings are determined by a computerized system, using the ITA's average points-per-match formula. The Division I top 75 teams, top 125 singles players and top 80 doubles teams receive an ITA ranking. The ITA Rankings are also used in selection of all ITA National Championships.

The Camels return to the courts Friday as they take on Stetson, in DeLand Fla. Match time is set for 10:00 a.m.
