Lowe continues to lead the Camels at the plate, hitting .360
with 28 RBIs and 29 runs scored, leading the A-Sun with 54 hits.
The senior has clubbed 13 doubles and one home run, while stealing
11 bases this season. Jimmy
Brenneman bats .345 from the leadoff slot, while leading the
A-Sun in on-base percentage (.544), runs scored (45), stolen bases
(24) and times hit-by-pitch (27), where the junior leads the
nation. Brenneman is also third in the conference in triples
(3).
Bryce
Grady has been on a torrid streak of late, hitting .688
(11-for-16) over his last five games with eight RBIs, a home run, a
double and six runs scored. The redshirt sophomore raised his
average to .333 on the season after coming into the week at .213.
Grady clubbed his first home run of the season at North Carolina
Central in a 15-1 Campbell win, driving in a career-high four runs
in the game. He then collected a pair of RBIs in Friday's contest
with North Florida, going 2-for-4 from the plate. In the second
game of Saturday's doubleheader, Grady was 3-for-4 with a run
scored, capping a 7-for-12 series for the redshirt sophomore.

a team-high 53 innings. Logan

one of Saturday's doubleheader, tossing his first complete game of
the season. The junior tossed 9 innings, allowing only one unearned
run while striking out seven and walking just one. Zier allowed
four hits in the CU win, his second career complete game. The
complete game was the third by a Camel pitcher this season. Zier
also started a game in the midweek, but exited after 2/3 of an
inning due to injury. The junior is now 1-3 on the season with a
3.62 ERA.
Brenneman
on Track to Shatter Hit by Pitch Record
Jimmy
Brenneman could easily break the Campbell single-season hit by
pitch record by the end of the season. The junior has been hit 26
times so far this season, for second all-time, through just 35
games. Chris
Bangi (2009-10) owns both the first and third highest hit by
pitch totals in CU history with 30 in 2009 and 22 in
2010.
Alan
Denman, who was hit by 15 pitches last season (now tied for
fifth in single-season history), has already been hit 15 times
again this year.
Brenneman leads the nation in the category, while Denman ranks
third.
