SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Campbell senior shortstop Amanda Miller and senior outfielder Lauren Stephan were both named to the Atlantic Sun's 2011 All-Tournament Team, the league office announced on Saturday afternoon, May 14, following the completion of the tournament.

Miller led the tournament field with six hits and hit .500 in the Camels' four games. Among her four hits were a pair of doubles. She also scored four runs, had a sacrifice fly and was hit-by-a-pitch. Miller reached safely at least twice in three of the team's four games.

The Dunn, N.C. native began her tournament with a three-hit game against Mercer (5/11). She also scored the team's run in the game. In an elimination game against Kennesaw State (5/12) she picked up two more hits plus a run scored and an RBI. She had a double and two runs scored in the team's second game against Mercer (5/13).

Miller ended her season leading the team in batting average (.335), hits (57), doubles (15), triples (5) and total bases (97). She also had five home runs, 37 RBIs, 22 walks, a .571 slugging percentage, an on-base percentage of .410 and five stolen bases.

Stephan had four hits and five runs driven in for Campbell during the team's four games. She drove in a run three of the four games and picked up a pair of hits in the other one. She ended up hitting .308 with eight total bases, a run scored and a sacrifice fly.

The Phoenix, Ariz. native began her tournament play with an RBI against Mercer (5/11). She followed it up with a three-run home run against Kennesaw State (5/12). Stephan drove in a run against Mercer (5/13) and finished up her tournament play with two hits against Lipscomb (5/13).

Stephan ended the year leading the team in RBIs (39) and slugging percentage (.644) and ranking tied for the team lead with 13 home runs. She hit .288 with six doubles, 85 total bases, 10 walks and 22 runs scored.

Jacksonville was crowned the 2011 Atlantic Sun Tournament Champion after defeating Lipscomb by a 7-1 score in the championship game on Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins Sarah Sigrest was named the tournament MVP. The Dolphins led all teams with three selections. Lipscomb, Campbell, USC Upstate and Mercer all had two selections each.
