BUIES CREEK, N.C. — Despite the rainy and potential severe weather in the area, Campbell's football team braved the elements and held its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Fieldhouse at Barker-Lane Stadium/Ed Gore Field.
The Camels welcomed in parents, fans, students and other supporters for the two-hour event. The team signed autographs and gave tours of the facility to those in attendance. The Campbell marketing staff provided poster and Bojangles food for those that were able to attended the meet and greet.

The Camels will begin game week preparations for Old Dominion on Monday, Aug. 29, with a 5:30 p.m. practice. CU opens the 2011 season with a 6 p.m. game against ODU at Foreman Field in Norfolk, Va. on Saturday, Sept. 3.
