Jeremiah Robinson An Honorable Mention Selection To College Football Performance Awards This Week

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell redshirt senior defensive lineman Jeremiah Robinson was an honorable mention selection to the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) list for Defensive Lineman of the Week, the committee announced on Monday afternoon.

Robinson, who is from Atkinson, N.C., had a dominating individual performance for Campbell from his defensive end position against Old Dominion (9/3). Robinson led the team with 11 tackles, recorded a pair of sacks, forced a fumble and tallied 2.5 of stops for loss. The 11 tackles he recorded were a career-high. His two sacks tied the school single game record and his 2.5 stops for loss are the second most ever recorded from a CU defensive player.

Robinson enters the week tied for the conference lead in tackles for loss and ranking 13th in the nation. His sack total has him placed second in the conference and tied for fifth nationally, while his tackles are third best in the conference and 22nd nationally.

Other PFL players recognized by the CFPA this week include Colby Walden – KR (Jacksonville), Brandon Coleman – DL (Drake), Andrew Huck – QB (Butler), Rainer Duzan – K (Morehead State), Zach Lewis – QB (Morehead State), Jerome Raymond – DL (Morehead State), Mason Mills – QB (San Diego) and Michael Rios – WR (Marist)

Campbell starts the home season against Apprentice on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. at Barker-Lane Stadium/Ed Gore Field.
