Box Score Charleston, S.C. – The Fighting Camels (10-6-1, 5-5-0) snapped a three-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over Charleston Southern (6-10-1, 4-6-0) Saturday. Senior Kirsty Meyer tallied her third goal of the season to put Campbell ahead in the 75th minute.
The win was the 10th of the year for the side, the seventh year in Campbell women's soccer history the team achieved double-digits in the victory column.
The game was also the Camels' fourth shutout of the season, and was the first solo shutout for freshman keeper Alexis Connors.
The Fighting Camels came out shooting, as sophomore Michelle Procaccini took three shots on-goal in the first ten minutes, but CSU keeper Caitlin Cody made the saves.

Alexis Prada, leading the team with six shots, took four in the first half, keeping the pressure on the Buccaneer defense.
CSU also had several chances at the net, however Connors stopped each of the five shots the Buccaneers had on goal.
Campbell finished the opening half with a 15-7 shot advantage over CSU. The Camels' total was the most of any half this season.
Meyer's goal came with just under 16 minutes to play in the contest. Sophomore Kellsey Costello-Mays gave a pass to classmate Ashley Clark in the Camels' offensive third of the field. Clark crossed the ball into the box to Meyer, who put the contested shot past Cody to bring the score to 1-0.
The Fighting Camel defense was able to hold off two Buccanneer shots on goal after the Camel score, including one in the final minute.
Connors finished the game with eight saves, raising her season total to 26. Campbell took 21 total shots, the third most of the season, putting 10 on-goal.
The Fighting Camels will round out Big South regular season play Tuesday as they host High Point at 7 p.m. at Eakes Athletic Complex.
