BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Senior Jeannie Borda was named to the Big South All-Tournament team for 2012. She was the sole representative for the Camels after the team fell in the first round of the tournament 1-0 to Radford.
"As a coaching staff we are really excited that Jeannie was chosen as a member of the Big South all-tournament team," head coach Todd Clark said. "She worked extremely hard over her four years here, particularly last summer, to be the best player she can be. I think this award is a fitting end to her career. Personally I couldn't be happier for her and prouder of her impact on our program."
Borda started all 19 games for the Camels in 2012 and finished with one assist on the season. Borda was also selected to the all-tournament team and the tournament most valuable player at Western Carolina's Catamount Classic.
