STATE COLLEGE, PA. – For the 15th time in 20 years, Campbell University its heading to NCAA women's golf post-season play. Ranked No.-58 in the latest Golfstat NCAA head-to-head rating, Campbell earned the Big South Conference's automatic berth to play in this week's NCAA East Regional, hosted by Penn State.
Campbell will be paired with No.-56 Augusta State and No.-73 Chattanooga for the first two rounds. CU will start from the 1st tee at 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, and from the 10th tee at 8:25 a.m. on Friday. Saturday's final round tee times and pairings will be determined by 36-hole scores.

The top eight teams and two individuals not on the qualifying sides will advance to the NCAA Championship, which will be held May 22-25 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.
The Camels start Wednesday's practice round from the first tee at 12:24 p.m. on the par-72, 6253-yard Penn State Blue Course.
Second-ranked Alabama is the highest-seeded team in the East Regional field, followed by fifth-ranked Arizona State and eighth-ranked and Atlantic Coast Conference champion Duke.
Each of Campbell's five starters ranks in the top-10 among Big South players in stroke average. BSC player of the year Kaylin Yost (75.07) tops the league, while Michelle Koh (75.48) is 3rd, freshman of the year Lisbeth Brooks 4th (76.0), Brooke Bellomy 8th (76.68) and Teresa Urquizu 10th (77.13).
Yost, Koh, Brooks and Urquizu earned Big South all-conference honors. Brooks was chosen the Big South freshman of the year. Brooks and Bellomy are ranked No.-13 in the Golfstat Freshman Impact Rating, while Yost (No. 147) and Koh (189) are listed in the Golfstat Cup rankings.
As a team, CU stands 17th nationally with 317 birdies in 11 events. During the 2011-112 season, Campbell has placed among the top five teams in 10 of its 11 tournaments, including victories at the Xavier LPGA International Invitational, Fighting Camel Classic and Big South Championship.
Now in his 21st year in charge of the Lady Camels, John Crooks has led his team to 64 tournament victories, second only to Dan Brooks of Duke (112) among active Division I women's coaches. Crooks has been named conference coach of the year 15 times, 11 occasions on the women's side, including this season.
Campbell has placed among the top two teams in its conference tournament championship 19 times in the last 21 years. CU won the 2012, 1994 and 1993 Big South Conference championships (and was runner-up in 1992). In 17 years as a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference (1995-2011), Campbell won a league-record eight titles and finished 2nd on seven occasions.
Penn State's Blue and White courses completed a renovation and redesign in 2007. The Blue Course is now a par 72 and 7,228 yards from the championship tees (6253 yards for the 2012 NCAA Women's East Regional). The renovated Blue Course hosted its first major amateur event, the 2008 Big Ten Women's Golf Championship.
The Blue Course annually hosts the Nittany Lion Women's Golf Invitational and has hosted numerous events conducted by the USGA, FCWT, AJGA, IJGT, PGA Junior Series and the West Penn Golf Association.
The front nine measures 3247 yards off the white tees. Its layout is quite different from that on the back nine. Twenty-seven strategically placed green side bunkers on the front side challenge a player's course management skills.
The back nine measures 3058 yards from the white tees and includes 16 green side bunkers, plus 11 strategically placed fairway bunkers. Water hazards are found on the 14th and the 18th holes. The back nine features large undulating greens and a links style atmosphere.
