BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell Athletics Ticket Office will be hosting a reception immediately following Saturday's 1 pm Men's Basketball game vs. Winthrop to promote 2013 Campbell Baseball season ticket sales. This event, originally scheduled to take place at the new Jim Perry Stadium, has been moved to the Convocation Center Ticket Office due to the wet weather conditions throughout the week.
Fans will be able to purchase reserved season tickets while availability lasts, and select their seats. Refreshments will be served. Premium reserved seats are just $75 ($45 for kids 12 and under). General admission season tickets are also available for $50.
Single-game tickets will be available beginning February 1. The outfield Camel Party Deck will be available this season to rent for individual games. The deck is perfect for birthday parties or other group outings. Call the ticket office at 910-893-1459 or email tickets@gocamels.com for details.
The Camels open the 2013 season on Friday, Feb. 15, hosting Eastern Michigan at the new Jim Perry Stadium.
The Fighting Camels broke 10 single season team records in 2012, including a program-best 41 overall wins. Campbell also produced several new program highs with games played (59), at-bats (2038) and sacrifice hits (60), finishing 2012 with a national top-10 team ranking in batting average, runs scored, hits, stolen bases, on base percentage and hit by pitch.
Campbell's return to the Big South Conference was highlighted by the club leading the league in hitting with a .314 batting average en route to a 15-9 second place regular season finish. The Camels also boasted a 23-3 start and an 18-game winning streak, both marking the best in CU program history.
