BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell held its annual Scout Day Thursday, Oct. 17 at Jim Perry Stadium, with nearly every Major League Baseball organization, including the Scouting Bureau, represented.
The day consisted of a pro-style workout, followed by a five inning scrimmage.

The Camels are in their final two weeks of the fall season.
Practice began on Sept. 18, with the team's first scrimmage on Sept. 23. Scrimmage dates remain for Oct. 19 and 22 at Jim Perry Stadium. Family Weekend is scheduled for Oct. 25-26, with a scrimmage on Friday night and Saturday afternoon prior to the CU football game against Mercer.
Fall World Series dates are set for Oct. 29 and 30, with the deciding game on the final day of practice, Nov. 1. Game times will be announced at a later date.
On Oct. 9, the Camels played an exhibition game against the Czech Republic national team at Jim Perry Stadium. The team also volunteered with the Miracle League of Johnston County on Sept. 26.
Campbell returns 16 letterwinners from last season's record-setting team, including All-Big South performers Ryan Thompson, Elijah Trail, Heath Bowers and Clayton Brown. The Camels also welcome 17 newcomers to the fold.
