FARMVILLE, Va. – After falling for the first time in Big South play 75-52 at Liberty, Campbell has an opportunity to get back on track on Monday at 7 p.m. at Longwood. The Lady Camels stand fourth in the league standings at 2-1, while the Lancers are searching for their first conference victory.

Against the Flames, Campbell rallied from an 18-point first half deficit to cut the Liberty lead to 47-46 with 14:18 remaining. The Lady Camels were held without a made bucket the rest of the way as Liberty used a 24-4 run to secure the victory.
Junior guard Kiera Gaines (Mechanicsville, Va.) registered a team-high 12 points. Career-highs were achieved by freshman forward Amanda Coffer (Summerfield, N.C.) with nine points and junior guard Casey Elliott (Wilson, N.C.) with five assists.
The Lady Camels were held to a season-low 27.1 overall shooting pct., while the Flames hit eight three-point field goals and tallied a 42.4 rate from the floor.
Seven different players have stepped up to pace the Campbell offense this season over the first 11 games. The Lady Camels have sunk 68 three pointers at a 36.3 rate this season, ranking 42nd nationally.
Campbell leads the Big South in field goal pct. defense (.358), assists (16.45) and assist/turnover ratio (0.92). The squad ranks second in scoring defense (59.1), scoring margin (+5.5), 3FG pct. (.352), 3FG pct. defense (.285) and three-point FG made (6.18).
There have been 10 meetings in the all-time series between Longwood and Campbell with the home team taking each matchup. The Lady Camels are 6-0 on their home court, while Longwood holds a 4-0 advantage in contests played in Farmville, Va.
Longwood is 3-8 overall and 0-2 in league play, falling to High Point (54-68) and Coastal Carolina (53-83). The Lancers enter on a seven-game losing skid, but topped Xavier (67-64), William & Mary (59-52) and Utah Valley (59-57) earlier in the year.
Daeisha Brown, the team's leading scorer at 17.9 points per game, has played eight of the 11 games. Recording 9.5 points per outing is Heather Tobeck, who has appeared in all 11 contests.
Brown is a key component to the Lancers as she also paces the team in assists (23) and steals (12). Ali Khalilah has grabbed 6.7 rebounds per game, while adding a team-high 12 blocks along with Tobeck.
Longwood has tallied a .361 overall and .264 three-point shooting pct. Head coach Bill Reinson is in his 12th campaign at the helm of the Lancers' program.
