BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Amanjyot Singh of Campbell University has been selected as the Choice Hotels Big South Men's Golfer of the Week for events played Feb. 14-20. 

A junior from Rajasthan, India, Singh posted a season-best eighth-place finish at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate (par 72, 6,913 yards) with a 3-over par 219 (71-72-76).  It was his third top 10 finish of the 2012-13 campaign and he was the top finisher of the 15 Big South golfers in the event. 

Singh played the par-4 holes at 1-under – the second-best score in the field, and was 2-under on par-5 holes.

Campbell continues its spring schedule Mar. 4-5 in the Davidson Invitational at River Run Country Club.

Singh's selection marks the first time a Campbell player has been named men's golfer of the week this year.
