ATLANTA, Ga. – Lynette Akai finished ninth in the women's 400 meter dash to lead Campbell's track and field teams at the Georgia Tech Invitational at Griffin Track.
Akai, a sophomore from Newburgh, Ind., finished ninth in the women's 400 meter dash with a time of 55.34.
Sophomore Stanley Hicks (Wilson, N.C.) crossed the line in 21.45 to take 11th in the men's 200 meter dash.
In Charlottesville, Va. at the University of Virginia Challenge at Lannigan Field, Morgan Timiney, a junior from Kalamazoo, Mich., finished 17th in the men's steeplechase with a time of 9:51.33.
After the tri-meet weekend for the Campbell, next on the schedule for the Camels is the 2013 NCAA East Region Championships on May23-25 in Greensboro, N.C.
