BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell will travel to face No. 15 Wake Forest Friday in its second exhibition match of the 2013 preseason. The game will be played at BB&T Soccer Park in Advance, N.C. at 7:00 p.m.
The two sides last met in 2011 in Winston-Salem, as the Demon Deacons took a 3-0 win in the Wake Forest Nike Challenge.
In the Camels' first exhibition match against UNC Wilmington Monday, freshman Kine Thorsvik netted CU's only goal, as Campbell took the first 20-minute period from the Seahawks 1-0.
Campbell's regular season kicks off Fri., Aug. 23 at Marshall University. The Camels' first home match is Thurs., Sept. 5 as they host Mt. Olive in a 7:00 p.m. tilt.
