KNOXVILLE, TENN. -- Heavy rains forced the cancellation of Saturday's second round of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship at Cherokee Country Club.
The event has been shortened to 36 holes. Sunday's final round will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Tahnia Ravnjak is tied for 19th place individually and Campbell is tied for 12th in the team standings.
With two players among the top six individuals, South Carolina leads the 17-school field after a 5-under-par 279 on the par-71, 5897 yard layout. Arkansas is second (282), Louisville third (283) and host Tennessee fourth (285) heading into the final round of the event. Six schools, including No.-14 Campbell, in the 17-team even are ranked among the nation's top 25 by Golfstat.
Katelyn Dambaugh of South Carolina and Fanny Cnops of UCF are tied for first place at 3-under 68 after a round that produced 14 scores in red numbers in a 93-golfer field.
Coming off her first collegiate win earlier this month at the Golfweek Program Challenge, Ravnjak made four birdies Friday and shot one-over 72. Red-shirt junior Ali Prazak, who played the last 10 holes even, and senior Kaylin Yost are tied for 52nd place at 4-over 75. Freshman Louise Latorre shot 76 and junior Lisbeth Brooks 77 for Campbell, which is locked in a three-way tie for 12th (298), but stands only 8 strokes out of sixth place.
