Camels for a Cure set for Saturday

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – During Saturday's home triple-header of athletic events, Campbell University will be raising funds to benefit the Harnett Health Foundation.  Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer awareness.

At Saturday's 1 pm football game vs. Morehead State, CU will hold a silent auction featuring limited edition Campbell Football "Camels for a Cure" hats and signed pink mini footballs. Bidding will begin when gates open at 11:30 am and conclude at 1:30 pm. All winners must pay with cash, check or charge before taking home their item.

The first 100 fans through the gate at both the women's (4 pm) and men's (7 pm) soccer matches will receive a free "Camels for a Cure" t-shirt.  Gates open one hour prior to kick off.

Fans may also spin the "Camels for a Cure" prize wheel at all 3 events for $2 per spin. Each contestant will depart with a prize.

All proceeds will benefit the Harnett Health Foundation and contribute to the Campbell Athletics goal to raise $10,000 for the cause.

Interested individuals may also make donations directly to the Harnett Health Foundation on-line at myharnetthealth.org/gocamels.
