2013 Men's Tennis Schedule

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell head coach David Johnson released the men's tennis schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Camels are set to play in five fall tournaments before appearing in 20 dual matches during the spring.

Coastal Carolina (Sept. 6), Charlotte (Sept. 20-21), Davidson (Oct. 4-5) and Winthrop (Nov. 2-3) host Campbell in fall tournaments. The ITA Regional played in Cary, N.C., is also a part of the fall slate on Oct. 17-21.

Seven home matches are scheduled for the Nisbet Tennis Complex, starting on Feb. 1 against Wingate. USC Upstate (Feb. 8) and UNCG (Feb. 26) are the non-league foes that come to the Creek.

After opening the spring at William & Mary on Jan. 14, Campbell battles two teams at the VCU 4-1 Invitational. The tournament is a four singles and one doubles match format.

Campbell travels to Elon for a mid-week meeting on Feb. 12, while also facing East Carolina on the road on Apr. 8.

The team's spring break trip has them battling Mercer (Mar. 1) in Savannah, Ga., before traveling to Dayton Beach, Fla. Bethune-Cookman and Savannah State face the Camels on consecutive days starting Mar. 4.

Big South contests begin for Campbell on Feb. 22, when it hosts Gardner-Webb. League foes that travel to Buies Creek are Longwood (Mar. 25), Presbyterian (Mar. 22) and Coastal Carolina (Apr. 1).

The Camels have road trips to Radford (Mar. 18), Winthrop (Mar. 29), UNC Asheville (Apr. 5) and Liberty (Apr. 10).

The Big South Championships hosted by Gardner-Webb is set for Apr. 15-19 in Boiling Springs, N.C.
