BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Lily Tang has been named the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association's Swimmer of the Week.

For the second-straight week, a Camel was named the CCSA's Swimmer of the Week, with freshman Michelle Case taking the honors last week (Nov. 11).

Tang, a junior from Marietta, Ga., turned in season-best times in the 200 IM and the 200 free, finishing third overall at Old Dominion in the 200 free with a 1:57.59. Tang then posted a 2:08.39 in the 200 IM, another season-low time. Tang also tallied a 27.03 in the 50 back, taking third.

Tang also led off the 200 medley relay for the Camels, helping her squad to a second place finish with a 1:50.92.

The weekly honor is the first for Tang, and the 12th in program history, dating back to 2008.

Campbell heads to Atlanta, Ga. for the three-day Georgia Tech Invitational Thursday, Nov. 20, running through Saturday. CU is 4-5 in dual meet competition this season and finished fifth in the 13-team North Carolina Collegiate Kickoff in early October.

The Camels will resume competition on January 3 at Florida Gulf Coast, taking on Liberty, Central Connecticut State and the host Eagles.
