BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Senior midfielder Alexis Prada and sophomore midfielder Nicole Connolly have been named to the Big South Tournament All-Conference Team, as announced by the conference Sunday afternoon.
Prada tallied three points (1g, 1a) in two tournament matches for the Camels; she scored the game-winner in the 103rd minute in the team's quarterfinal match against Gardner-Webb, and assisted on Campbell's lone goal in Friday's semifinal against Liberty.
The Laurel, Md., native was only one of three players to appear in all 19 matches this season, a new career high; Prada also set career highs in points (7) and goals (3) in 2014.
Connolly scored in the 77th minute of Campbell's semifinal match against Liberty, the team's only tally in the match.
The sophomore from Newtownabbey, N. Ireland ranked second on the team with 17 points and seven goals, both career highs; Connolly also ranked second with 43 shots and tied for second with three assists.
