GAME NOTES (PDF)

CONWAY, S.C. – No. 4 Campbell will take on No. 1 High Point at 6 p.m. Saturday in the semifinal round of the VisitMyrtleBeach.com Big South Championship at The HTC Center.

Live coverage will be available on ESPN3.com and WCLN at the links above.

The game will be a rematch of last year's tournament quarterfinal, as Campbell mounted a 24-point comeback to defeat High Point 74-73 in overtime.

In this year's earlier games, High Point left Buies Creek with a 76-62 win on Jan. 4 and defended its home court with a 64-59 win on Feb. 6.

In February, High Point snapped Campbell's five-game win streak as the Lady Camels were hindered by early foul trouble and a first half drought without a field goal.

RaeChaun Edwards led CU in points and assists, with 15 and 7, respectively. She went 3-for-5 from beyond the arc and 4-for-6 from the free throw stripe.

Campbell started the first half on an 8-0 run over 3:28, with four Lady Camels scoring in the streak. CU was held without a field goal for over nine minutes in the half, scoring six free throws in the dry spell. HPU used those minutes to go on a 17-6 run, taking a 23-20 lead.

Campbell turned around with a 14-4 run with 9:03 to go in the second half. In the sprint, Summer Leverette knocked down a three and added two free throws to close the gap.

HPU pulled ahead again led by DeAnneisha Jackson's three layups, from which Campbell couldn't recover. The Panthers knocked down seven free throws in the final 46 seconds to secure the victory.

In last year's conference tournament, Campbell rallied from a 24-point deficit to force overtime and went on to defeat High Point 74-73 in the quarterfinal round.

The Lady Camels trailed 42-22 at the break and 46-22 with 18:59 to play before their full-court pressure hurried the Panthers into 18 second-half turnovers and 31 for the contest.

After falling behind by 24, Campbell cut the lead to 10 (52-42) on Presley's lay-in with 13:24 to go that capped a 20-6 run.

Baker, Gaines and Presley each hit baskets in the overtime period as HPU had turnovers on each of its first three possessions.  The Lady Camels didn't score over the final 2:46 of OT, but High Point made only 2-of-7 shots from the floor and 1-of-4 from the line in the extra session.

The winner of the semifinal will advance to the championship match Sunday at 5 p.m.
