Box Score HIGH POINT, N.C. – Campbell was held scoreless for the opening 22 minutes as High Point took the 19-5 victory at Vert Stadium on Monday night, snapping the Camels' two-game win streak.
Cloey Henchcliffe scored twice for Campbell (7-8, 2-5), and Erica Hitch, Taelar Errington, and Kaki Armiger each added one goal.
The Panthers (10-5, 6-0) opened the game with eight straight goals. Errington put CU on the scoreboard with 7:33 left before halftime, bringing the score to 8-1 in favor of HPU.
High Point scored once more in the half before Hitch netted her goal 41 seconds away from intermission, and the Panthers took the 9-2 lead into the locker room.
The second half opened with three Panther goals in six minutes, as High Point went up 12-2.
Each team scored three times in the following 10 minutes. CU's final goal came at the 13:41 mark as Henchcliffe notched her second goal of the day, and the Panthers held the 15-5 lead.
HPU scored four times in the final 12 minutes, closing the game with the 19-5 margin.
High Point held the edge with ground balls, 23-16, draw controls, 18-8, and shots, 32-12.
